NESA Accredited Professional Development workshops and resources to empower teachers to be Driven Digitally and ready for the new curriculum.

All workshops will be delivered by professional and certified trainers through our partner UTB (using technology better).

Below are the incredible structured workshop options currently available; we can also work with you to deliver customised workshops tailored to the proficient needs of your school.

OPTION 1

  • Visual Arts STEAM Workshop

 In this fun and meaningful workshop teachers are supported to explore how new technologies and ideas can be integrated into the art room. Participants will enjoy hands on experimentation and lively discussion around how art, technology and innovative thinking can be integrated into the classroom.

OPTION 2

  • STEAM Learning for your Classroom and School - 6 hour Workshop

Minecraft Education Edition has been a very popular classroom tool for authentic, engaging and collaborative learning. Now it's even better with the new additions of Classroom Mode, Code Connector and the vast range of teacher resources and lessons - right at your finger tips.

You’ll Learn How To:

  • Find out how Minecraft Education Edition is engaging students and fostering creativity and collaboration in classrooms around the world

  • Experience Minecraft as your students would, using Classroom Mode

  • Explore the range of pre-made worlds, lessons and resources appropriate to your class (including Chemistry World)

  • Use Code Connection to automate processes in your world

  • Find out how to build your own lessons in Minecraft

  • Discover how Minecraft EE can help your students meet the new Digital Technologies Curriculum progress outcomes  

  • Learn how to get your class (or school) up and running with Minecraft EE no matter what your school learning platform is.

OPTION 3

  • STEAM, the Digital Technologies Curriculum and your Classroom.

TEAM is an integrated curriculum approach that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics to inspire, learn and share with others. Teachers everywhere are realising its potential for making cross curriculum links and equipping their students with important digital learning skills.  

Our STEAM Digital Technologies Curriculum will deepen your experience, understanding and resources to become an even more COMPETENT and CONFIDENT STEAM facilitator with your class and for your school!

OPTION 4

  • Become a G Suite for Education Level 1 Certified Educator!

This boot camp is a fast paced, 2 day course that covers all of the main G Suite tools and how to use them in the classroom.  You will also sit the 3 hour Google Certified Educator exam, where you will demonstrate your knowledge via 20 multiple choice and 11 practical scenario questions.

This training is not all about the certification though! It will be a rich, hands on experience with lots of ideas about how you can implement G Suite effectively in your classroom and school.  

During this two day course you will:

  • Explore a range of G Suite for Education tools including Gmail, Calendar, Hangouts, Tasks, Sites, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides & Forms, Google Classroom, Search, YouTube, Google Groups & Chrome.  

  • Be guided through the Google for Education Level 1 course in a way that will fast track your learning and build new skills in teaching with Google tools.

  • Gain the knowledge and skills needed to successfully pass the Level 1 exam.

  • Take the exam in a supportive environment after using our practice exam questions to prepare.
